About this project
Cinderlift is a game about building machines out of pixel physics on a planet you are trying to leave. Materials behave as solids, powders, liquids, gases, frozen or molten states, and thermal conduction and phase changes are simulated directly rather than approximated, so heat is something you build with instead of decoration. You play with collision and temperature damage, a hotbar, inventory, equipment, crafting and a searchable creative inventory, with saves and a sandbox mode. Item logistics arrive as chests, item pipes, pipe crossovers, spouts, drains, placers, miners, filters and block-watching devices. Electrical pulses run physically through conductors: they branch, generate heat, melt weak conductors and clean up destructive overloads. Separate circuit wires carry named integer signals, including material signals, virtual channels and Constant, Arithmetic and Decider combinators. The browser build runs the game in the page and supports multiplayer over WebRTC with room codes. A Windows desktop build is distributed separately through GitHub Releases.
