About this project
String Blade is a browser-based music combat game that turns guitar chords into battle actions. Fight projectile-firing enemies in Duel Mode using different chords to attack, guard, parry, heal, dodge, shield, and unleash heavier strikes, or switch to Progression Mode and play chord sequences in rhythm to deal damage and build score. Chords can be entered manually, played through a MIDI device, or detected from a microphone with per-chord calibration. The game also includes guitar chord diagrams, timing grades, combo and wave tracking, and a responsive interface built around real-time musical input.
