About this project
RadioGuessr tunes you into a live radio stream from somewhere in the world and asks you to place its broadcasting location on an interactive 3D globe. Streams come from the Radio Browser API, filtered toward high-voted music and talk stations, and the globe is built with Three.js and globe.gl with optional country borders and four map themes. Sessions run 3, 5, or 10 rounds. Hints reveal the broadcasting language, city, or region as a round gets harder, and a reroll swaps in a different station from the same country when a stream is broken or silent. Talk Mode filters out music so language becomes the main clue. Submitting a guess pauses the stream so you can keep listening to it. A global leaderboard, filterable by round length, is backed by Supabase. Every country you identify is stamped permanently into a local passport with regional pages and score-based visa tiers, and each session ends with a shareable score card. Where it runs
