About this project
OpenLiDARViewer is a browser-based viewer for LiDAR and point-cloud data. Open LAS, LAZ, COPC, EPT, PLY, XYZ/CSV, E57, and GLB files locally, then navigate 3D scenes, switch visual modes, inspect scan metadata, measure distances, areas, heights, slopes, and cross-sections, annotate points, save viewpoints, and export snapshots or data. The app runs entirely in the browser using WebGPU with a WebGL2 fallback, so local files stay on your device. It is designed for fast, approachable inspection and exploration rather than replacing full GIS or survey-grade processing tools. Developer and author - https://github.com/Aurtechmx/openlidarviewer
